Thanks to all who supported our Benefice Service, it was lovely to see so many in Church......
The Silverstone Grand Prix has come and gone giving us our annual thrill of seeing buses passing through the village over the weekend and a few lost souls looking for their camp sites, and traffic lights at the bridge...causing good back up of traffic in both directions for most of the time.
Hopefully those suffering not the best of health continue to make good progress and we wish them all a speedy recovery.
The heatwave and lack of rain continues and although harvest has finished the risk of fire is a worry as is the spread of Blue Tongue amongst the cloven hooved livestock, including the wild deer...may you all stay safe...And yes, we still sadly have an empty house in the village some two years on...obviously no housing shortage in this area.
