Westbury Parish Council
Meetings
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 7th July at Westbury Village Hall at 8.00 pm. Members of the public are very welcome to attend but please register with the clerk beforehand (for track and trace purposes).
The agenda is on the website at: https://westburyvillage.co.uk/westbury-parish-council-agendas-and-minutes/
Keep Britain Tidy Day
At 11am on Sunday 4th July, Keep Britain Tidy invites you to take part in the Thank You Day Power Hour clean-up, and continue the amazing momentum and community spirit demonstrated during this year’s Great British Spring Clean campaign. Westbury Parish Council has a few litter-pick tools available for those who would like to take part (either on Sunday or at any other time); please contact Cathy the parish clerk at westburyclerk@aol.com if you would like to use one.

Children’s summer activities
Westbury Parish Hall Charity (WPHC) is funding some children’s activities during August (similar to the climbing wall & arty picnic we did last year). Lindsay is busy organising the days and spaces will be limited, so please keep your eyes peeled for a village email with details – COMING SOON!
If you are able to volunteer/support on the day please let Cathy know on westburyclerk@aol.com – thank you 😊.
Dog fouling
We urge all dog owners to make sure they always pick up their pet’s mess and thank the responsible owners for helping to keep Westbury clean.

HS2
Footpath WBB/17 will be closed from the 5th July 2021 and a new footpath will cross the line of route when HS2 work is complete in the area – a map showing a diversion is available to view at: (https://westburyvillage.co.uk/full-steam-ahead-on-hs2/)
Fix my street
Anyone can use this online tool to report a problem on a street/road in Buckinghamshire (including fly tipping) or to track the progress of reported issues at: https://www.fixmystreet.buckscc.gov.uk/

Please note:
Samantha has now finished as editor of the Link, so it won’t be circulated until a new editor is appointed; it is hoped it will be back as a hard copy this summer. In the meantime, the parish council will continue to send information out monthly.
